Joel,
I second the little snap together mats. Dri-deck is the available at the
major chandlers- http://search.defender.com/?expression=dri%20dek Only takes
a couple of squares cut to shape. I also cut a couple of circles to fit in
the propane locker bottom in the round recess. Dri-Dek (the company) had an
office next to mine in Naples a number of years back and the owner drove a
very nice Ferrari.... BTW nursing the sunburn today after a great sailing
weekend circumnavigating Sanibel- touched 8 (briefly) on the GPS under
reefed main and 135 on a broad reach. May all your snow melt and your ice
thaw....

I pulled my anchor and rode out of the locker today. The line was wet, and
the thimble corroded through. The shackle looks like crap too. Bought new
thimble and shackles. I'm waiting for the line to dry before I splice it.

I'm thinking of buying a milk crate and cutting it up and laying it in the
bottom of the locker to keep it off the bottom of the locker.
There is a drain, but there is obviously moisture in the locker.
Thoughts?
