Hey Brent, I too would love to partner on a big fix-er-upper. Sadly, the market is weak. Sadly, my boat money is tied up in my 34R. Too many complete and ready-to-go boats, up for sale right now.
Realistically, not many boat yards would take a 61 so she would have to reside in Annapolis or Newport or someplace setup to handle her. Dock fees and yard storage fees on a 61? You could probably get her for a song and then regret paying dock fees and winter storage before finding a buyer.
