On my J/80 I had a 5:1 purchase and hooked a 2:1 purchase to the tail, doubling the initial purchase for the last 5 feet or so, which is the only bit that really tough to get in. And eliminating the need for yards of extra sheet over the side when you're reaching, or in the cockpit when you're going to weather. Andy C&C 40 Peregrine
