Have you talked to Holland Marine? He seems to have tanks that replace OEM tanks contoured to fit up against the hull.
I would start with him. I've spoken to him and he seems like a nice guy. A 3 gallon fits on the lower shelf no problem. If you really want to use it, you could put one in place of the bow water tankt that would be pretty big or one compartment forward of that.
