Bob,

A clever fellow C&C 30 owner taught me this one:

Use a hydraulic bottle jack (or two) to elevate the aft end of the cradle. Then
support the hull with screw jacks properly placed under structural bulkheads
near the aft pads/bunks. The cradle can then be lowered enough to pull the
block of wood free from between the keel bottom and the cradle, leaving enough
space to apply anti-fouling.

Our club places cradles on 8" wood blocks to facilitate placement by a
hydraulic hoist trailer, which makes it easier to get the bottle jack(s) under
the aft cross-member. No need to jack very high, so tipping is not a concern
(make sure the forward blocks are set diagonal at the corners so they don't
roll).

I did it on both my 27 and 30, and it worked great.
