I sail on Ghost Lake - 4280 ft in the Rockies.
Much different from sailing at sea. Constant sail trimming - CONSTANT! The wind
changes all the time. Some days you can do a 360 and be beating into the wind
all through the turn. (A little poetic license there, ..but not much!)

I've just been out to the lake (11mins from my house) to check on my boat.
There were a couple of ice boats out there and a slew of ice fishermen. I don't
get ice boating. Beer doesn't taste the same at -20deg C.
