I have a real good pair of foamed polyurethane boots and if I were going offshore I would definitely take them along.
They are called Baffin Polyurethane, CSA approved and tested to ASTM F2413-05. They are strong, lightweight, don't leak, have a composite reinforced toe, good grip and keep my feet toasty warm all day long in minus 15-20 C, colder than that I stay home. Cost about $150-200; best all round boots I have ever owned and I have fairly wide feet and they fit great and are lasting very well. I was told most of the lobster fisherman around here wear these boots.season started last week and goes to end May.it gets pretty cold out there some days Dwight Veinot C&C 35 MKII, Alianna Head of St. Margaret's Bay, NS _____ From: CnC-List [mailto:cnc-list-boun...@cnc-list.com] On Behalf Of Alan Bergen Sent: December 4, 2012 8:51 PM To: C&C Photoalbum email list Subject: Stus-List Recommended Boots Has anyone on the list found boots in an extra wide size. I need boots that are warm, for offshore use. All boots I've tried are too narrow. Alan Bergen C&C 35 Mk III Thirsty Rose City YC Portland, OR _____ No virus found in this message.
