I have a real good pair of foamed polyurethane boots and if I were going
offshore I would definitely take them along.

They are called Baffin Polyurethane, CSA approved and tested to ASTM
F2413-05. They are strong, lightweight, don't leak, have a composite
reinforced toe, good grip and keep my feet toasty warm all day long in minus
15-20 C, colder than that I stay home. Cost about $150-200; best all round
boots I have ever owned and I have fairly wide feet and they fit great and
are lasting very well.

I was told most of the lobster fisherman around here wear these boots.season
started last week and goes to end May.it gets pretty cold out there some
days

Subject: Stus-List Recommended Boots

Has anyone on the list found boots in an extra wide size. I need boots that
are warm, for offshore use. All boots I've tried are too narrow.
