Hi Edd...my LF came with a 'sunscreen' that is cheep and easy, but not for
sailing (well, we do leave it up in under 10 knots) or high winds. It is a
piece of Sunbrella that zips onto the dodger on the forward end, and on the aft
end there is a pole with a snap clip that attaches to the backstay on top of a
bolt on wire clamp covered in leather. Each end of the pole has a line that
ties onto the pushpit. Mine also came with clear side flaps about 20" down.

This is cheep and does about 75% of what we like. It really can't be used
while sailing in the rain...when a real bimini is really appreciated!

My father has a 1978 C&C 34 (formerly known as the Enterprise-A) and is looking
for a low-cost bimini option that will attach to
his stern rail or his deck.
