My 26 has the two scoops either side of the backstay, on the transom, that Joel 
has.
I have one pointing forward, the other aft. There is lightweight (4"?) hosing 
coming off both. One goes to the forward end of the engine compartment, the 
other to the after end. One has an inline blower installed inside the hose.
Seems to work well with my Yanmar 2GM20F.
