Thanks for the link Marek, that's a good guide.

At the C&C west coast rendezvous some people "warned" me that my forward flags had dropped to the water. Bless their concern. However, that is how I have been influenced and I see on page 16, of the guide, it is a Canadian, or more likely an Imperial Navy, custom.
