David, I totally agree with what the other 37+ owners have to say about racing and cruising. The holding tank is small 17 USG for cruising the Great Lakes but the boat is easily modified to get 45 USG. The PHRF rating alone should tell you its a fast boat for racing. Its an easy boat to sail and stiff in 15kn + wind. Most days you will pass everyone, and do so in comfort. We have the wing keel version, wish it were the center board Edd! Had the boat for 4 years and spend 6 weeks plus aboard every summer. Raced a few regattas too with probably 2000 lbs plus of cruising gear, I don't know how Ken gets away with only 1000 lbs! Love it! If you get north of the 49th, you are welcome to come check it out. Len Mitchell CRAZY LEGS 1989 C&C 37+ Midland On.
