I'm trying to remove the set screw on the exterior knob of my forward hatch. The knob is aluminum. The screw is a phillips head screw. I've used PB Blaster and I'm letting it soak in. If that doesn't work, what is the next step? Heat? drill/dremel (I'm afraid I'll get more aluminum than screw)? new knobs and a saw? Also, for the first time in 12 years my boat has a current PHRF certificate! With the addition of a furler it is now rated at 129. Now I need to work on a crew! Ordering sail numbers from Defender! Joel, Be happy with your rating. Here in PHRF -MA the base of the 35-3 was 114, I appealed and had it raised to 117. With a furler, it is 120. On Long Island the ratin is 123. Just finished the Around Long Island Regatta Where my 35-3 beat a C&C38 and a 121 taking a first in Division 3. Division 3 is the fastest non-spinnaker fleet where most of the boats were 40-44'. We finished 2.5 hrs ahead of the second place 44'er and 3 hes in front of the 42'er. The race is 190 miles. Howard Paul, Skipper of Knot Again 35-3. _______________________________________________ This List is provided by the C&C Photo Album http://www.cncphotoalbum.com CnC-List@cnc-list.com
