Linux Boot Process, File System Hierarchy, Installing Linux through USB/CD, Basic Command Line, package management using yum or apt-get etc, Basic Trouble Shooting, etc., basic security, dual booting from windows to linux, basic shell scripting. A good starting point to expand from. Please Note: To comply with the terms of use we signed for room booking with CPL, any lessons given by CLUG at the Central Library will be given at no charge to the attendees. Other possibilities can be discussed at the meeting in regards to other suggested venues.
