My Android Galaxy Nexus phone running 4.2.1 would mount under DISTRIB_ID=LinuxMint DISTRIB_RELEASE=15 DISTRIB_CODENAME=olivia DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Linux Mint 15 Olivia" NAME="Ubuntu" VERSION="13.04, Raring Ringtail"
but now with DISTRIB_ID=LinuxMint DISTRIB_RELEASE=17.1 DISTRIB_CODENAME=rebecca DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Linux Mint 17.1 Rebecca" NAME="Ubuntu" VERSION="14.04.1 LTS, Trusty Tahr" it clunks. # installed (and current) apt-get install mtpfs apt-get install mtp-tools go-mtpfs is no longer available farthest I got is getting it to show as a ptp camera device but would not mount **** today it won't do anything. Do not understand why. using the same USB cable it mounts on my Windows 7 laptop (I copied files off yesterday) right now it does nothing. can't even get half results shown below really don't get what my malfunction is Frustrated and confused.
