The camera acts as the AP, the computer browses to the cameras WiFi
network and gets issued an IP/network range from the camera. I don't
believe that I can change this behaviour.

Connecting to different cameras with different/additional network cards is
definately a hack.

Depending on the camera, this is the only way to connect. The QX10 (and
family) is intended to clip on the rear of a cell phone and provide a
decent lens/camera for photo-snobs. ;-)

As I mentioned early some of the later cameras can make outgoing
connections to LiveViewRmote, AP, or phone in teathering mode.
Unfortunately I dont' have one of those.

Gustin has suggested some other iptables commands to try, so I'll give
those a go later.
