I just wanted to know whether the Lexar usb stick supported Linux at all. My brother Mel said that Linux can use any usb stick like nextck and Lexar. I wanted to back up my Documents directory and all of its subdirectories which I was able to do successfully. It is good to know that I can save an iso to the drive in such a way as to make the Lexar USB drive a bootable drive. All I wanted to do was to save my documents on one drive, all my pictures in my Pictures directory on another drive, et cetera for back up purposes. My brother Mel pointed out that although it is not illegal for Lexar support to charge outrageous prices for questions, it is immoral and that the next time I need to find out whether a hardware device is Linux compatible to go to either CLUG or himself to to check it out if in doubt.
