Hello again to the CLUG membership ! As it is not possible to spend much time together on the day of the AGM I have decided to give you all a chance to meet with me in person at your own convenience prior to that date. Here's what I will be doing. For the next two Saturdays (March 22 and March 29) I will be at Devonian Gardens next to the food court entrance downtown at noon so that you can come down and sit and chat - find out what I am about for real so that you will be at the AGM fully informed. I will answer any questions put to me honestly and completely and will, in exchange, expect to hear from you about your thoughts and needs with regard to the groups future - it is your group after all. My promise to you now is that I would always work towards the desires of the group and not my own. I am told that the attendance is almost non-existent these days and I believe that can be turned around. I also have some thoughts to share with you about increasing the membership numbers but again, what actually takes plac e is up to you folks. If you are not able to make it downtown to the Gardens entrance to meet me on one of the Saturdays coming up, my email address is enclosed, contact me and we can work out something to get together when you have the chance. This coming Saturday,(March 22) I will be wearing black pants and shirt with a burgundy tie. Or if you wish we can chat via email but I would feel better if we could chat in person.
