The previous command should be:
cat /sys/block/md127/md/component_size

in order to match the device in question.  You previously used "mdadm
--details /dev/md127".

It goes without saying, that messing with your array (especially a fragile
RAID 5 or RAID 0) is dangerous.  You should backup your data if you have
not already before proceeding.
