Sorry, I sent a copy of this without my proper e-mail ID.
I'm using Kontact and have the same issue. Ever since Akonadi was introduced
the mail/calendar system on Kubuntu has been a complete disaster. Not one
Kubuntu upgrade has been without an Akonadi/Kontact issue for me. Further, I
have found the Akonadi forums to be useless or worse. I hope someone finds a
solution to this soon. Maybe an Akonadi bonfire would work?
Once I did a manual date/time reset (it was set to 31/12/01 at 11:39p.m.) and
then went back to automatic time set it seemed to correct itself.
