I'd be all for seeing another COSSFEST. Unfortunately I can't commit
the time I did in the past. So someone else with "vision" needs to run
with it this time round. Sounds like you are stepping up to the plate
Mel... Let me know how I/we can help.

Thanks Shawn, I think most of us, and the executive and I where aware of
that and welcome your input.
It was at the last meeting I heard of some sort of real interest. I know
Kin was talking about this over 6 months ago and more recently, along
with others from our group.
I had to miss the last COSSFest (2010) due to work, so I will be getting
revved up by viewing the the 2010 Fest talks.
We are interested in ways to bring up the attendance to the geek and non
geek alike. Got a feeling this is going to be big.

Someone is planning the next COSSFEST? News to me. But, if so, that
person should get a hold of me as I have some COSSFEST resources/contacts.

Just a reminder that at the last meeting a great idea was brought up
about "thinking of what is in it for the attendee". Thank you for that!
In other words "What money or time etc. savings will they see from
attending" or "the cost benefit of going to the Calgary COSSFest".
I am sure many of you have have ideas and for those who want some review
I suggest looking up some sites like this one:
