With Office Depot closing I have had my eye on a D-Link 323 to use as a NAS instea dof my original plan of a PC with OpenNas or similar on it. A new candidate has now poked him head up in teh form of a Seagate GoFlex Home Network Storage System. I know Gustin has mentioned some stuff about the D-link in the past, but I wondered what others thought about the various options or any ideas.
Moistly just looking for a certalized storage for windows mac & linux data (mixture of all sorts) prefeably over Gigbit network. Access from outside the network would be awesome & possibly streaming media would be cool also. Eventually setting up a Linux server with OpenLDAP (or similar ) for authentication & such, so wouldn't necessarily need that. Might be looking at buying this weekend so.... _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list clug-talk@clug.ca http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
