Fellow CLUG list members, I have several classic Unix systems I'm
looking to sell as my house is starting to get a little cramped (or so
my wife says) and I am looking at a new DSLR. I'm located in SW Calgary.
Below is a brief list of the hardware I'm selling, please respond
off-list for more details and pictures of the units you're interested in.
* HP Visualize C3000 - 400mhz PA-RISC cpu, 1.5 GB ram, 2 x 18GB SCA SCSI
disks, HP FX2 video card, HP-UX 11.11 installed.
* SGI O2 workstations - Misc configurations, mail me and I'll send you a
detailed list, all running Irix 6.5.
* SGI Octane - 300Mhz R12K CPU, 1GB ram, two framebuffer cards, Irix 6.5.
* Sun Ultra 10 - 400Mhz UltraSparc IIi cpu, 72GB 10K rpm SCSI disk, 1GB
ram, PGX-32 video card, LG DVD-RW drive, Sun Keyboard mouse
* Cluster Lab - 8 Sun Netra X1 1U servers, 8 port 10/100 switch,
required cables. Great tool for learning about clusters, low
power/cooling requirements.
* Netapp DS14MKII tray with 14 x 144GB FC disks. Reformatted with 512
byte blocks to work with standard OS's. Great for ZFS or LVM. Includes
FC adapter and fibre cable.
* Netapp DS14MKII tray with 14 x 300GB FC disks. Reformatted with 512
byte blocks to work with standard OS's. Great for ZFS or LVM. Includes
FC adapter and fibre cable.
* Storagetek L80 Tape library. 80 tape slots, 8 drive bays. Includes 1
SCSI DIFF LTO1 drive, 4 extra drives available.
Some of the workstations have special display requirements (13W3, sync
on green etc). If needed I have LCD monitors that work with these
machines for cheap. Prices are reasonable, just looking to recoup some
of the money I've spent collecting these items. I don't mind answering
questions so let me know if you have any.
