The last few times I did a presentation, I just used a wireless mouse.
It only takes a left click to advance to the next page - the laser isn't
needed for that.

I have used at least two of those devices on that MemX page with my

on-board Bluetooth adapter on my Dell.

Hi Folks
I have attended several presentations when the presenter used a remote
device to move to the next slide. The laptop ore netbook being used
was running Windows. Is it possible to do this with a netbook
running kubuntu? I guess some extra hardware might be required as
well as some extra software. Has anyone done this?
Robin
The hardware normally shows up like a mouse, and in my experience,
this works just fine on Linux.
Example hardware:

You can also use just a wireless mouse if you tape over the laser before
presentation.
