Does anyone know of someone in town that has a CNC machine? I was thinking of getting my own CNC machine but I would probably only use it once or twice a year. I think it would be best if I crafted up my own G-Code and paid someone else for the use of their machine.
I would like to find someone in Lethbridge but I am okay with Calgary also. There is a cool looking program for Linux called GCAM http://gcam.js.cx I have not tried it yet but if the G-Code is compatible with someone I find that has a CNC for rent I will start using it right away. -- Easy, fast GUI development. http://PerlQt.wikidot.com
