Hi Folks, I have just installed debian testing amd64. (I already have the stable debian on my old box). Thanks to all those who gave me tips on moving /home from the old to the new box: it seemed to go well.
For a while after I installed iceweasel on the new box it seemed to work fine. However, now when I try to start Iceweasel I get an error message from kde 4.4.5 that iceweasel is already running but not responding and that I must shut it down or restart my system. I have tried the following things without success: restarting; shutting down and restarting; uninstalling iceweasel and then reinstalling; completely uninstalling (including configuration files) and reinstalling. I would be grateful for help. Robin
