In a corporate setting...I don't think anyone would have a chance of bringing a privacy suit to success in court. There would have to be some hugely illegitimate abuse of the software for that to happen.
I think if an employee is warned & these are the policies & consequences around that...then they really have no recourse...assuming everything is implemented properly.
