The main reason I did not let developers know that I wanted the option of using big charts in Open Office is that I have been too busy having fun with other applications such as sound juicer and evolution and ice weasel and firefox which are far superior to Internet Explorer and Outlook Express and the windows email client whose name I can not remember because I have not used Windows in such a long time.
I think we can all claim this at times! I know I can, except that I sometimes get to lazy to report features or bugs... LOL! ;-)
As you can see, I spend more time exploring Linux Applications than complaining about perceived shortcomings of some of those applications. I would rather spend my time exploring than complaining. Tomorrow I have specifically put exploring epiphany on my to do list on my daily agenda.
I think this is a good challenge for all of us. Instead of focusing negative energy on a debate no one can win, why not broaden our knowledge, experience, and professionalism & build a greater community & ecosystem.
Why try and force the choir to sing the way you want them. Instead...help them out in at least considering other songs. If they don't like the lyrics or the melody...that ok...there are plenty more in the book.
That being said...challenges put forth in a positive, constructive & respectful manner are usually better received; more likely to be taken up; & will garner the best most quantifiable results.
