There is a long history of "glitches" coming up with the list. These glitches are typically affectng one account at a time, in a random nature. The solution is usually for that account to unsubscribe, then resubscribe.

To *really* fix the problem, the entire list would need to be removed and recreated from scratch. But that would result in the loss of all the archives and force EVERY user to resubscribe - which would lead to a loss of members. The presidents of the past (before, after, and including me), felt this was a very drastic step that the symptoms did not justify (yet).

So, it's not perfect, but it could be worse too. Any experts on "mailman" can feel free to pitch in with comments/advice/help - I'm sure Chris would love the assistance. :)

Wow....the list seems really dead lately or is that my imagination?

I know I have have some busy days & late nights & am behind in a few
things...but I thought it was just me.

The last message I received was Shawn's "PROSIG tonight" reminder on 28 May, until this morning when I received a "
You have been unsubscribed from the clug-talk mailing list" notice.

Technical problems on that end, or mine?
