I always add two things to every firefox instance I have: ABP & NoScript. Does good things (tm) for page load times!
I use NoScript WhiteListing for the sites I visit regularly that need it. I also use BlackListing and GoogleAnalytics is on blocked; to quote The Prisoner: "I am not a number". I did some research a couple of years ago on using JavaScript to compromise privacy. After I was able to expose end user credentials and originating IP addresses within a site intended to maintain anonymity it became pretty obvious just how much damage can be inflicted. If I can do it - others can do far worse. > > _______________________________________________ > clug-talk mailing list > [email protected] > http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca > Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) > **Please remove these lines when replying _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
