The general meetings are comprised of many different sorts of people.
New to Linux/Open Source users, right up to core developers (sometimes).
Usually we see a mix between relatively new users, intermediate users,
some network engineers, and some random developers.
In short, everyone is welcome to attend, and thoughts of "not fitting
in" don't really apply. As long as you are coming with the
understanding we are there to generally discuss Open Source related topics.
Welcome to the group!
Hmmm...looks like that post got some conversation going...LOL
I will echo Shawn's comments...all lurkers regardless of skill level or
experience with Linux or even open source in general are always welcome
at any CLUG or related event. Along with CLUG, there is also a
Programming Special Interest Group and a variety of little side projects
as well. Also, I am sure the COSSFEST guys would welcome some input or
help with the upcoming event.
Essentially if you have an interest in Linux or open source in general
you are part of the family & we would love to have you out sometime.
Ohhh...one other qualification...do you like beer? Meetings always end
with a trip to The Toad & Turtle for some wobbly pop's & snacks.
Welcome all lurkers!
