Hi all, I'm attempting to configure NUT to power down a server if the UPS goes onto battery for more that 30s.
I have configured upsmon to use NOTIFY and the upssched stuff, but I can't see a way to test this functionality to ensure it really does shutdown the machine at the appropriate time. Normally I would just pull the power to the UPS, but this UPS is shared between systems at work that must stay up so that isn't an option. Is there some magic command I can type for force the state of the UPS into a particular mode? For example 'force-ups-state my...@localhost ONBATT' I would be OK in configuring NUT to point at a 'fake' UPS, if that is possible.
