To find out what the permissions are, ls -l /path/to/mount/point To find out where it is mounted: df -Th you will probably need to sudo chown yourusername /path/to/mount -R to fix the permission problems. Also, the newest X/K/Ubuntu will probably better support your wireless card. Of course, my solution was to put in an Intel WiFi card instead of the mediocre atheros that these things ship with. If you are cracking open the eeePC, you probably already noticed that it is a standard mini-pci card that you can replace. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFJG3QUwRXgH3rKGfMRAtq1AKCDnipklk78fGZ0mvGcV2i8bc2pVwCfS5Hd CEccxzKG0oA+am9m4VVK9Us= =ZbQS -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
