The ball park is about right and the presences runs about 10-20k - it makes a 
lot of sense when you are looking at 1M.

But if you travel or have the ability to use the earnings without repatriation. 
(Caution - this thought would be closer to the letter of the law rather than 
the spirit - one needs to seek professional counsel with more accurate and 
current information - std cya).

Thanks - this is closer to what I was looking for.  The money would
eventually come back into Canada so I think finding my own personal
Ireland is the way to go.

The last time I checked into this the bar was 100K, I would think it is
a little higher now.
