A few things to add...helpful or not: * Is the DNS & DHCP Client running on the boxes? * Is there a windows server somewhere around that you would make into a DNS server? * I can't recall exactly as my brain isn't functioning right now...but is their a windows services for unix installed on the xp boxes...i can't recall if it is abvailable or not * Have you tried hardcoding the ip's for the DHS server on any of the machines? * Maybe have to flush the dns cache when doing an ipconfg * Anything firewall related (either on server od xp machines) that might be blocking? * Other security software that might be affecting it? * Was it working before? If so, when did it change? When was the last time it worked?
