I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a voip provider that will allow me to transfer my current cell phone number to their service. I'm looking for a company that offers standard SIP service so that I can use Ekiga, or other sip-based software packages rather than having to buy an ATA or use proprietary software. I was planning on going with Callcentric (www.callcentric.com), but after submitting the paperwork, they told me that they were unable to port my number.
