My car would probably make it, but you have to stop every 200km to top the coolant up. Depending on how many want to go, it might be worth hiring a decent car/van to make the trip. If 'we' are splitting gas/hotel room, we should ensure we actually get there..... although that could make a good 'how I broke down on the way to defcon' story for future generations.
