Hi all. I've been plugging away on a personal project, and am slowly nearing the time when I'd like to make it public. I was thinking about making this an open source project, and inviting/allowing others to contribute. I know I'll need a website, and probably a public repository, forums, and bug reporting tool. I can set up each of these, but am looking for some guidance on if these are really needed.
A quick search of google for "setting up an open source project" didn't yield much useful. So I'm looking for opinions... What services would you expect an open source project to provide (web, forums, SVN, etc.). What would you be looking for as a user of the project? As a developer? Any tips/comments appreciated.
