Hi, Apologies if this is a dup, just didn't see it earlier.
I just have an idea - no graphic because I can't draw at all. The tagline is 'FLOSS - every day'. The graphic concept is Users connecting to WebServers (Apache) connecting to Database Servers (MySQL) etc. I think there's lots of room to further develop the idea. Punny things like 'Products/Services you can sink your teeth into' as well as extentions to the graphic metaphor which could depict an idealized (dentist) office with bubbles showing how FLOSS supports business needs, ie patient data is stored in MySQL etc. Just a thought, J.J. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Simon Wood" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "CLUG General" <[email protected]>; "CLUG Events" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, April 17, 2007 6:34 AM Subject: [clug-events] Reminder - Theme/Logo Competion for Calgary LinuxFest 2007 > Hello everyone. > A quick reminder that the deadline for submissions for the Logo > competition is next Monday (23rd April). > > Simon. > > --- > Begin forwarded message: > > Hi all, > As you all know we're heavily into the planning stage of the Calgary Linux > Fest 2007.
