If this is an installation based on the first (original) OpenSuse 10.1
release, then I'd really recommend you update your installation to
correct the Yast2 routines. I've had problems with my 10.1 installation
and re-installed using the "10.1-remastered" CDs.

I have copies of the "10.1 remastered" CDs / DVD if you need those.
