I've thought of stuff like that, but I'm still stuck with the firewall
port problem regardless of where the software comes from.

I have a 2.2GB Kasercorp USB disk drive. I have Portable OOo on it and I
used to run portable FF and Thunderbird but they were just too slow to
launch and run. I also ran Damn Small Linux (the QEMU version) and I
could never get it to run right on any Windows computer I plugged it
into. It was a great idea, but turned out to not be very practical.
