Hi All:

Installed a SuSE 10, configured power management (in yast) as "Presentation"
"Display standby mode and screensaver are disabled. "

But the screen(s) (4 on 1 PC :-) still turn black after 10 minutes.
I think it is in the bios
It's an older Dell and I only have the option to turn the
powersafe mode to "S1" or "S3" (Whatever that means)

Is there a way to trick the BIOS (a cronjob pretending activity....?)
to get around this?

It is a monitoring system using Nagios
the idea is to have the 4 screens located in a central space in our IT dept.
so each time one of us walks by we have a 2 seconds look to see that all
is fine... or not.

Thanks

Peter
