I created the new directory in another shell though. Except for a few crashes (I let the bug reports go back to Google automatically), it works even better than the windows version in some ways. Nice of Gooogle to explain the crash reporting and give you options. I like the virtual joystick and grabable compass. Takes some practice not to over control the joystick. I find the newer Linux version easier to navigate with and pirouette, etc.
