I've consistently had problems with the OpenGL Screen savers I don't think it is isolated to just your laptop issue but I can tell you that certain OpenGL screen savers have hung my desktop system. I pick one of the non-openGL selections only for when I lock my desktop. I don't normally run with a screensaver on. And in anticipation to those that may ask, I have the nVidia drivers installed and 3D acceleration is turned on. Not sure if this helps but felt it worth mentioning. -- Jarrod Major Registered Linux User: #224211 GPG Fingerprint: 4556 EFA8 EC69 7C54 EE33 C881 2C7C 0E10 2439 231E
