I will be presenting using my laptop, after that it can be used for your
demo, I have working WiFi, ethernet, PCMCIA and I use it every day.
With Kubuntu I have access to most of the apps mentioned.

Also, I will be on campus early, and I have 2 different USB ethernet
NICs that work under stock (aka kernel.org... aka upstream, that place
that Gentoo users seem to hate :P ) Linux kernels.  I also will be
bringing a PCMCI NIC (wired and wireless) that work with stock kernels.

So, you will be online :)
