hi all.... recently a small web project has come to my attention that could, if completed, benefit the open source desktop community quite a bit. the project is a fairly typical and rather straight-forward database+scripting web site project related to, but not exclusive to, the efforts ongoing at freedesktop.org.
i know that there are several web developers on this list who use open source extensively and have communicated their desire to contribute something back in the past. this could be your opportunity. =) i imagine that the project would take a month or two of spare-time work and would be well suited for 1-3 people (2 would probably be perfect, however). if you are interested, please send me an email. if we get enough interest, i'd like to set up a coffee meeting where we could get together and discuss the project in detail. -- Aaron J.
