I thought so too, but if you have multiple subcontacts under a meta contact, 
you need to go the extra menu to maintain flexibility and independance 
between the contacts as you may wish to move one and not the other.

Did not know that but then I generally avoid drag-n-drop as I find it's a way 
to lose stuff. Thanks for the tip though Aaron.
