I am big fan of DSL,  Of course knoppix is fine as well if you use
fluxbox, which I believe is included by default.

I have engarde linux in a VM for evaluation right now.  It is aimed to
be secure distro (SELinux) while still being somewhat easy to maintain.
 Do we want to have categories (home use, business desktop, server,
liveCD/Rescue)

Although it may not be as pretty, the System Rescue CD
(http://www.sysresccd.org/Main_Page) might be interesting to some of our
new members.
