Hello All, When I was having problems at boot up I uninstalled skype, and when my brother Mel came over, we discovered that my problems with connectivity at boot up were caused by the fact that my router cable had come out of the computer.
I then decided to get skype again and try to install it. I saved skype_1.2.0.18-1_i386.deb to my home directory in /home/michael. I then did an su and did an install sky(tab completion) /Desktop/ . I then looked for skype in /home/Desktop/ and found in that directory skype_1.2.0.18-1_i386.deb highlighted in green there. What are the proper steps to reinstalling skype?
