Hey Kin, If you are running KDE on your client machine, try this in Konqueror: fish://[EMAIL PROTECTED] substitute the IP or domain name of the server you want to talk to substitute a valid username on that server FYI, 'server' applies to any machine on your network running SSH or somewhere on the Internet at-large that you have access to. It does not have to be a web-server but rather a machine running the SSH daemon (server). If all your ducks are lined up in a row, you will be prompted for a password for the user. If you enter this correctly, you will be presented with a graphical file manager for the server in question. Also, if you want to edit text files in any other K application, they can use this connection you have opened. It's pretty slick. I use it for fast edits of HTML files on my webserver. It's not as pretty as running a full-blown Window Manager on the 'server' machine but if it is a webserver, likely you won't need more than that. -- Jarrod Major Registered Linux User: #224211 GPG Fingerprint: 4556 EFA8 EC69 7C54 EE33 C881 2C7C 0E10 2439 231E
