Hey Jesse, as Mark pointed out, you don't actually need a Hotmail account (I haven't had one for years and really dreaded having to sign up again). I'll check out what you need for AIM though. The more I use Kopete, the more I love it. And it sounds like they are trying to hook into Skype with it.
